25 more things about me...starting over

1.  My goal in life is to bless at least 2 people every day.  If I get to the end of the day and I feel I haven't reached the goal, at least I can pray for someone.

2.  I am deathly afraid of heights.  I fell out of my brother's tree house when I was in middle school......maybe that's why?   

3.  I used to be quite shy/reserved until somewhere in my 30's.  Apparently everything I held inside all those years is still surfacing.....  

4.  I hate sleeping in tents, yet I was a girl scout leader for 10 years.......  

5.  My friends call me "Laa".  Maureen Maloney Prendergast started that - it's my initials (Lori Ann A).  

6.  Creative things inspire me.  

7.  I am very sentimental; pictures tell a story, and I treasure them.

8.  I don't like it when the earth shakes under my feet.

9.  I am Italian, love Italian food, and I used to watch my "nono" cry.  He was a very tender man.......he passed away while my husband and I were driving/moving to California and I never got a chance to say goodby.

10.  I'm technically and directionally challenged.

11.  I love to laugh......especially at myself!

12.    Every time I see a homeless person on the road, I give them money, food, whatever I think will help them.

13.  I am not good at math

14.  I had Scarlett Fever when I attended Crane Elem. School.  Strep is not my friend.......I can get it very easily.

15.  I have a heart murmur as a result of #14.  I just deal, but I don't like it when my heart flutters around on me.....kinda freaky.

16.  My favorite color is purple.  It makes me happy :)

17.  I worked for the VP of Tomahawk Cruise Missile Program during Desert Storm.  Long hours......no sleep, and that's when I started drinking coffee.  

18.  My brother lost his wife when she was 23.  He was left to raise his son, which he didn't do well with.   It's the saddest story of my life.

19.  I wish I could waterski like the good old days.  I wasn't good at many sports, but I nailed that one!  

20.   I am a small business owner - decorate for events.  I am a certified event planner, but prefer to just do the decorating.

21.  I love the Ocean..........laying on the beach, walking on the beach, collecting seashells....  It's so peaceful.

22.  I own at least 50 pair of shoes.......crazy......

23.  As I get older, the relationships and people in my life seem to be more important than they used to.....

24.  I love my life, count my blessings each and every day. 

25.  Sunset - my favorite time of day........and they never get old!
