). Converted to Judism in 1997

). Became a die-hard Red Sox fan in 2003. Can you say Grady Little? Nuff said...

). I love scoring baseball games. Learned how to do it when my son played in little league and I was one of his coaches. Fun fact... I happened to have scored the September 1, 2007 Red Sox game (vs. Orioles) when Clay Buchholz made his second appearance for the Sox and pitched a No Hitter... NO NO

). Every March, for the past nine years, I've organize a Single Malt Whisky tasting for 50 people at a local neighborhood club. I provide the food component for the evening and last year's event was the best year ever. Can you say Haggis?'

). I've had a collage published in the Sunday New York Times.

). I was 2 ft. away from Agnes Morehead in a crowded Expo '67 exhibit in Montreal when I was a young child. I still remember her bright red hair.

). I go on an annual windsurfing trip to Hatteras, NC every May with 6 buddies (2 of which are also Kite boarders).

). My mother is french canadian. Her parents were farmers and she was the eldest of 10 children.

). I was part of a fundraising group that saved a house (and a family) from foreclosure after a local friend with 11 kids (3 from a previous marriage) suddenly had a heart attack and died.

). I like to occationally shoot & produce videos for the local cable station.

). I served on Grand Jury for 18 months. I've been called about 3 times to serve on a jury since leaving high school but never served. Odds were in favor I'd hit the jackpot.

). I Love photography and wish I had a camera when I was really young.

). I bought a Djembe (West African drum) recently and have taken classes and have been to 9 drum circle. There's something very primal about beating a drum with other drummers. We had 45 drummers for the Boston Marathon. We played the same rhythm for 3 hours straight and never got bored. The runners loved us!

). I am a techie person who loves all kinds of gadgets. The books I read seem to all be technical journals. Just read my first book on the iPad2.

). I love to cook.

). My brother-in-law owns Chefwear.

). Started playing Squash in my mid thirties with 3 Episcopal minister friends. Had to stop when I turned 50 because I had torn my left ACL and my right knee was at %70 strength. I miss it and wish I had taken it up at a very early age.

). I remember working at an Ad Agency in New York City in 1985 when 2 guys from Apple tried to sell us Mac II CI computers and my boss basically told them that the computer in advertising will never amount to anything. Type shops soon went out of business.

). I am a  C-SPAN junkie.

). I hate reality TV shows. They are produced on the cheap and IMO dumb down the viewers. Plus they are probably rigged. Give me a great story line with compelling characters any day of the week (Mad Men & Breaking Bad on AMC for instance).

). Watches "It's a Wonderful Life" every holiday season and alway sheds a tear when young Mary Bailey whispers in young George's ear, "I'll Love You till the day I Die George Bailey"

). Loves to travel but HATE airport security.

). Nothing better than the ocean, fresh seafood & an exceptional bottle of wine.

). I married a Nurse Mid-wife.

). When I lived in New York City in the mid eighties, I was checking out an exhibit at a East Side Post Office and I noticed Kurt Vonnegut was standing right along side of me.

Interesting list! You have some great memories--thanks for sharing :) Re: 6 My Dad is French Canadian. Also the son of farmers he was born and raised in Notre Dame De Bois. His family moved to the U.S. when he was twelve and he didn't speak any English. He enlisted (early) in the Navy during WWII. He served on two Destroyers. When his tour of duty ended and he returned to the United States he was deported to Canada! Poor Mom had to wait three extra months for the Canadian and U.S. Governments to straighten out his paperwork before they were married. Their original wedding date was scheduled for March, but the delay postponed it until June. To this day Dad teases Mom because he says she always wanted to be a June bride!
